Risk Management for the City of Hutchinson is handled by the City Attorney's Office. All claims on behalf of and against the City are processed in this office, in connection with the City insurance carriers. The Risk Management Division handles a variety of matters including workers compensation, auto liability, and all property and casualty programs. When damage occurs to public property, recovery for the cost of fixing or replacing the damage is sought.
